KUNISHIMA CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) hereby stipulates and announces our Personal Information Protection Policy. We implement the protection of personal information by engaging in initiatives to make our employees and people connected with the Company aware of the importance of protecting personal information, and by strictly enforcing our policy.

Management of Personal Information

The Company maintains personal information in an accurate and up-to-date condition, takes the necessary measures (such as maintenance of security systems, establishment of a personal data management system, and thorough employee training) to prevent unauthorized access to, and loss, destruction, falsification and leakage of personal data, and has safety measures in place to ensure strict management of personal information.

Purposes for Which Personal Information Is Used

The personal information entrusted to the Company by our clients is used in documents and emails for purposes such as contacting the client, business announcements, and responses to questions.

Prohibitions on the Disclosure or Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company manages the personal information entrusted to us in an appropriate manner, and does not disclose it to a third party unless any of following cases apply.

1. 1. If the client has given their consent, and if it is necessary to divulge the client’s personal information, based on the relevant laws and ordinances, to a party the Company has entrusted with work in order that the client may receive a service they have requested.
2. 2. If a request has been made, based on the relevant laws and ordinances, by an official body such as a court of law or the police.
3. 3. If there is a special stipulation in the relevant law or ordinance.
4. 4. If there is a risk of damage to the life, person, assets or reputation of a client or third party, and the consent of the person concerned cannot be obtained.
5. 5. If it is necessary to protect or defend the Company’s rights, assets or services from an action that is contrary to the law, or to the Company’s Terms of Service or Precautionary Notes, and the consent of the person concerned cannot be obtained.

The Company has flawless security measures in place to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information.

Queries from the Person Concerned

If the client wishes to query, revise or delete etc. their own personal information, the Company will handle their request after confirming their identity.

Compliance with Laws and Ordinances, and Social Norms

The Company complies with the applicable Japanese laws and ordinances, and with other social norms, with regard to the personal information we retain, and also endeavors to make appropriate revisions to this Policy in order to improve it.

Announcements and Revisions

The date of publication shall be shown in the Western calendar. Announcements shall record their date of issue, and the date of any revision shall always be made clear.
